Audio Mastering

Audio Mastering

A mastering engineer is a person skilled in the practice of taking audio that has been previously mixed in either the analog or digital domain as mono, stereo, or multichannel formats and preparing it for use in distribution, whether by physical media such as a CD, vinyl record, or as some method of streaming audio.

This is how it works:

Our recording studio receives the audio project from client where it will be tested for frequency, stability and perceived volume assuring the track is healthy and even ready to be mastered. After a clean bill of health the file will be uploaded to system where it can be referenced in a pro audio environment allowing us to apply proper channel chain to sweeten enhance and deliver store and radio ready material.

Example of Chain

  1. Gain
  2. EQ
  3. Stereo processing
  4. Compression
  5. EQ
